Using a business model, fostered a “for profit” mindset in a not for profit environment by ensuring a diverse Board of Trustees was in place, creating a donor centric organizational structure, developing solid systems & processes and recruiting a skilled team to build what has become one of Edmonton’s leading charities; successfully managed donor and stakeholder relationships and the disbursement of funds raised through a multi-million dollar capital campaign to build the city’s first children’s hospital; increased annual Foundation revenues from under $1 million to over $12 million; completed an aggressive five year strategic plan to raise $20 million annually.
